Something must be in the air over on the set of Top Chef. First judge Gail from Food & Wine magazine gets married. Then another judge Tom Colicchio and his wife have a bundle of joy of their own. now Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is the latest with a bun in the oven. here is what padma's rep confirmed to UsWeekly:
"Model, author, and Emmy-nominated Padma Lakshmi confirms that she is carrying her first child after years of struggling with endometriosis, a cause for which she has co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America. As a result of her condition, this pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi's privacy at this time."
Well at least now if she pulls a Heidi Klum and does the next season while pregnant, she won't have to worry about gaining weight from all the food she has to eat. Although, i wonder if she will be able to eat all the crazy dishes and keep it down on TV? After all, she is eating for two.
