...The Descent. This awesome flick is about a group of female friends led by Juno (Natalie Mendoza) encounter bloodthirsty creatures when they get trapped in a mountain cave while sprelunking. With limited supplies, they try to find a way out, but soon they face hunger, they begin to turn on each other, all the while a savage breed of predators are on their tails. What was cool about the film was not only was it an all-female cast, but these chicks didn't just stand around and wait to be killed. They fought back from being ripped to shreds from those creatures, and tried desperately to survive from killing each other. If The Descent 2 is as kick-ass as the original, I cannot wait to see it when it hits theaters in 2010.
