The very first film by a little-known director who went by the name George A. Romero. My mom used to tell me how she had nightmares watching this film. What most do not know is the original concept of Night of the Living Dead came from the "I Am Legend" book released back in the 50's. Adding social commentary to that concept is what really put the film on the map. The film stars Duane Jones as Ben and Judith O'Dea as Barbra. "They're coming to get you Barbara!" is a line that never get's old.
