THE MAKING OF JANET'S TRIBUTE PERFORMANCE TO MJ



MTV went behind the scenes as Janet prepared for her awesome tribute performance for her brother with some of the industry's biggest performers in dance including the LEGENDARY Tina Landon (Janet), Tyce Diorio (Velvet Rope Tour, So You Think You Can Dance), Dave Scott (Usher, Mary J Blige), Wade Robson (Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, So You Think You Can Dance), Mia Michaels (So You Think You Can Dance), Cris Judd (aka Jennifer Lopez's ex), and her right hand man Gil along with other dancers in the business. I liked the fact that Janet said this was the most fun she's had working on a performance in a long time. Maybe that was why her fans werent paying for her concerts and buying her music like we all were in the past. Everyone could tell her heart wasn't really into the music. Sometimes when you get too comfortable in what you do instead of challenging yourself in dance and in music, it definitely shows. Hopefully, that spark she got at the VMA's will continue in her future work. The documentary airs all weekend on MTV. Here are some highlights...
