There's been alot of buzz surrounding singer/songwriter/activist Anye Elite and I thought it was about time I shine some light on this young man's promising career in music. I'm actually very familiar with Anye's work since he was one of the very first artists to hit me up on my blog (back when it was a wee wittle baby) and let me know about the music he was doing. Glad to see all his hard work is finally taking shape. He's sexy, fierce, black, and openly gay (which is always a plus in my opinion). Elite blends elements of hip-hop and pop with his cutting-edge lyrical content, labeling it "hip pop" to keep you in the groove, but leaving you with something to think about. Not only does he sing, but he also expresses his rap skills on tracks from his upcoming album "Gay 101". "I Got Him," a track some outside of the gay community may deem a bit controversial, deals with something most have been afraid to touch on, which is same gender relationships.
