Here is your first look at Brian Austin Green as John Corben/Metallo in the upcoming two-episode arc on "Smallville" starting with the September 25 premiere.
According to TV Guide, The look will undoubtedly draw comparisons to "Iron Man" movies, and executive producer Kelly Souders' comments aren't helping. She says the character, with a heart made of kryptonite, is "a rough version of Metallo, a first attempt at the technology, and eventually he'll get sleeker." Souders added that "We're actually throwing some ideas around right now in the hopes that we might be able to bring him back for another episode."
After eight seasons, Smallville has been moved to Fridays and the new Kevin Williamson series Vampire Diaries will occupy it's own time slot. If you think about it, a vampire series and the new season of Supernatural is a natural fit. I wonder if this is a ploy for the CW to bury the show, whick, in my opinion should have ended last season. Nine years is a bit too long to wait for Clark Kent to become Superman, let alone finally learn to fly. Since I have invested so many years into the show, I will be there to see the new season. I was just thinking Fridays is going to be a bit crazy now that Medium, Dollhouse, Smallville and Ugly Betty are all on the same night.
