THE CHANNEL THAT STOPPED PLAYING MUSIC VIDEOS ANNOUNCES NOMINEES

Nominees for the 2009 Video Music Awards, which is set to premiere Sunday, Sept. 13 in New York City have been announced. Both Beyonce and Lady Gaga tie with nine nominees, while Britney has been nominated for seven. As far as creative videos go, I can totally see Lady Gaga cleaning up, since she's truly invested in her musical artform. Every video Gaga has put out has been consistant creatively, while Beyonce's have been hit or miss. But at the end of the day, who honestly cares about the nominees because we won't remember them in 2010. What I am more interested in is who will perform at the event?
