Blogger Perez Hilton has not been having a good time lately. It all began in Canada where he was punched in the eye by will.i.am's manager after he called the Black Eyed Peas frontman a "faggot." Then he rubbed me the wrong way even more when news got out that Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital, he quickly called it a publicity stunt to get out of his "This Is It" contract.
In an interview with the Advocate, Perez said he contemplated calling will.i.am the n-word (yes, that n-word) instead, but he "thought the f-word was even worse."
Now N.O.R.E. is taking Perez to task, calling him a "faggot" and a racist.
He tells DJ Vlad:
“To be perfectly honest with you, I was appalled. I was real upset he could admit that because at the end of the day, we have a black president. We’re moving on in this world, we have black governors… And the fact is, we still deal with that regular racism that’s going on. Now here's a guy who's a Cuban guy. For the record Cubans are considered blacks...I respect gay people, I hate f*ggots. This guy is a f*ggot. And the difference is a f*ggot is a person who hates everyone else who isn’t gay. A gay person is just happy to be gay. So when he has the audacity to admit that he wants to use the n-word, it was just like the most disrespectful thing in the world because even for him thinking like that, thinking to say that, he shouldn’t have even admitted to that. At the end of the day man, this sh*t needs to be addressed.... If he had ran across me during a time when were beefing and he would just say n. I would just punched him in his mouth...”
Which is always been my point that people are a little bit racist and homophobic when they are looking to find a way to really hurt you emotionally. Words do cut like a knife, and Perez should know that the things he says about people would eventually bite him in the ass. Now as far as N.O.R.E., I do like your music,and I'm definitely feeling you on what you are saying, but there's no need to stoop to Perez's level. Oh, and I know most latinos won't admit it, but PR's Cubans, Dominicans, etc. are black. Let's just accept it and move on. Just because your skin is light and you have blue, green or any color eyes lighter than brown doesn't make you something else.

N.O.R.E. ain't saying nothing I haven't been sayong for years. So just for a bit of fun, let's play the guessing game, shall we? From his clues we think he's talking about Puffy aka Diddy, Kanye, and Ne-Yo. And if these are the folks he's talking about, he's right: No one will be entirely surprised. The rumors, for instance, about Puffy have been legendary. Kanye, too. And as for Ne-Yo, well, where do we begin? I've always heard that at least 50% (or more) of rappers are gay and these rappers have been outed by someone in the past: Chingy, Luda, T.I., Usher, and Bow Wow. Legendary, honey!
