NEW MUSIC: JORDIN SPARKS - S.O.S. (LET THE MUSIC PLAY)

Love this 'don't'mess'with-my-man' track right here! I will admit, I wasn't really feeling the mediocre tracks off of Jordin's last cd. The only song that stood out to me was "No Air" with Chris Brown. From the couple of tracks off of her new cd, "Battlefield," all is indeed forgiven. I've come to learn that every Idol contestant who releases their first cd doesn't have control of what direction they want to take their music. What's cool is that Jordin got to co-write three tracks off her new cd and the sample of Shannon's classic "Let the Music Play" is killer! You think the folks Jordin worked with is positioning her to be the next Rihanna? Only time will tell. Go cop the new cd when it's released tomorrow and make sure you check for her when she performs on the Wendy Williams Show later in the week. Check out my other faves "Don't Let It Go To Your Head" which for some reason reminds me of JoJo's "Too Little, Too Late" "Let It Rain" and "No Parade"
