After Nas spilled the T on his income and expenses, Kelis has fired back by filing documents showing exactly what she has recieved from the Queens rapper. Filed on Tuesday (July 14th), Kelis states “Divorce in April 2009. He has provided me with only a $350 check and $2,500 in gift cards since that date approximately three months ago.” The court document goes on to say “I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed this 14th day of July, 2009, at New York, New York. Kelis Rogers.” As we mentioned above, Nas recently broke down his income and expenses saying that his estranged wife overstated his money. Nas says he break his spending habits down saying he puts out around $71,371.96 a month, which includes $10,000 a month in clothing/hair/toiletries/personal effects. Kelis, who is about to give birth to their child, says Nas hasn’t given her any child or spousal support.
Nas, please do right by your girl Kelis and take care of your fam. Ain't nothing cool about being a deadbeat. Look at the bright side (yes, there always is one). Atr least all this drama would give Kelis enough fodder for a whole new cd.
