DRAMA ON THE DANCEFLOOR

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

While most in the music industry are used to beefs between rival hip hop stars, there seems to be some serious drama escalating between two of gay clubland's hottest DJ's.

NYC-based DJ Peter Rauhofer is pissed at Offer Nissim! Word on the street is that Offer got hold of an a capella version of the new Whitney Houston track 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength.' As you all know, Rauhofer premiered his mix at NYC Pride two weeks ago, and was hired by Sony for the official remix. But if Offer's leaks first, which it inevitably will, it will beat Rauhofer's mix to the floors. Which if you think about it, will take money out of Rauhofer's pocet! Here's the de-ga-ga:

Peter took to his Facebook page, and got all Kanye on a bitch, saying: 'Offer Nissim is an unthankful piece of shit! Yes, I am sick of his NEVER-ENDING attitude. Enough is enough!.'

Peter also posted on a comment on YINON YAHEL’s wall (who is Nissim’s producing partner), saying:

'It is MAJORLY disrespectful for you and Offer Nissim to do an un-commissioned remix with a stolen new Whitney Houston acapella, going against Sony Music’s marketing & promotion plan AND going against all remixers who were officially hired for this new Whitney Houston track. This all JUST because Offer Nissim can’t take it that HE was NOT chosen to be one of the official remixers. VERY disappointing and simply disgusting how Offer Nissim shits on all of us here and mainly the hand thad fed him throughout the last 5 years.'

And a few more updates:

UPDATE: Peter Rauhofer, Sony Music & Whitney Houston are disgusted how Offer Nissim had the nerve to steal the new Whitney Houston acapella, quick do his own remix and basically shit on all of us! “I AM OFFER NISSIM, I CAN DO WHAT I WANT”. In Ankara maybe….but NOT over here! - Rauhofer’s facebook account

UPDATE #2 -Peter Rauhofer at 3:16pm July 13 There is a reason WHY Offer Nissim NEVER officially got hired to remix any major label artist. EVERYTHING he ever does he then leaks (even his own productions…) EVERY remix he ever did (Madonna, MJ, Jennifer Lopez..) he remixed un-commissioned from illegally achieved accapellas and THEN he even bootlegged them on his “Happy People/Forever Tel Aviv” series and brought himself into MAJOR difficulties- a reason WHY Star 69 never was able to release these compilations here because it was filled with his bootleg remixes. This time he went too far. His ego is out of control. He honestly believes he is bigger than Madonna. Too bad Madonna doesnt even know WHO he is. - Rauhofer’s facebook account.

I'm actually a fan of both Rauhofer and Nissim's. Offer started rubbing me the wrong way recently when i saw him spin and he was waving his hands around like he was conducting a fucking orchestra. He looked pretty ridiculous doing that. If his ego is as big as Peter says it is and Offer Nissim is stealing tracks and leaking them, he's not only making it difficult for other DJ's to eat, he's disrespecting the entire DJ culture. I seriously hope at this point Peter has dropped his sorry ass from his Star 69 imprint. Then when he sees how hard it will be to make it as an american DJ, maybe it'll knock his huge ego back a few pegs. I am curious to hear what his Whitney mix sounds like though.
