What should be about celebrating the very interesting life that once belonged to Michael Jackson, it seems as if Michael jackson's memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles will turn into britney's Circus tour. His closest friend Elizabeth Taylor won't be there. Liz Tweeted yesterday afternoon that she didn't want to be a part of it. I loved that she used the word "whoopla." Someone get Lizzie spell check stat!
You know, it makes sense that Liz isn't going to show up. I think the memorial is more for the fans. Hopefully she will show up at the more private family service where I do hope the photogs and the annoying ass vultures over at E!, Access Hollywood, ET and the Insider will allow the family to have one final moment with MJ. I actually avoided the coverage from those shows, simply because not only did they come off phony in the way thy talked about MJ, it seemed they were willing to interview the janitor that worked two houses down from MJ just so they could get someone to talk about him. I also felt their coverage was beyond disrespectful. I'm sure if it were someone who wasn't black that made a smart decision by snatching the Beatles catalog, ther tables would be turned. Had Paul McCartney bought MJ's catalong the media would have looked at him like he made a genius business decision.

The memorial will be televised on most major networks at 10am Pacific. So far, the list of performers and speakers include: Usher, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer, Rev. Al Sharpton, Shaheen Jafargholi (from Britain's Got Talent), Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and Brooke Shields. With all these enablers (I mean celebwhores) speaking about MJ, why didn't they ask Bubbles the chimp to do something?
