BEASTIE BOY ADAM YAUCH HAS CANCER

The Beastie Boys have postponed the release of their new album and canceled their upcoming tour so that MCA (aka Adam Yauch) can get surgery on a cancerous tumor doctors found on his left parotid gland. The tumor won't effect his voice (unfortunately, the same can't be said for Rachael Ray's annoying ass voice), but Adam will have to go through treatment. Adam explains it all in the message above and he even apologizes to the fans for having to go away for a quick minute. You should never have to apologize for your health. Yetting your mind and health right is much more important than the music. We'll wait around until you're strong enough to get back out there in the music game. Get well, MCA.
