After a seven-year hiatus from music to focus on a long, hard crack vacation, doodoo bubbles, a hot mess of a reality show, and a coattail-riding husband with a bad case of yuck mouth, Whitney Houston will release her long awaited new album Sept. 1, the day before my birthday, her record label announced Wednesday.
Houston's seventh studio album – rumored to be titled Undefeated – will include the Diane Warren-penned "I Didn't Know My Own Strength."
Photographer Patrick Demarchelier recently worked with the singer for some promotional shots and called the day "fantastic." "She was so full of life and energy. She moved well and was in such great spirits," he said.
Getting the new Whitney cd for my birthday will be like the best present ever!
