GLAAD asks for a pro-gay disclaimer to be added to Brüno

The (humorless and censor sensitives whores that make up the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is asking the studio heads behind Sacha Baron Cohen’s new movie Brüno to add a “tolerance message” at the end of the film. According to the head (pun intended)bitch of the organization, they fear Cohen’s exaggeratedly stereotypical Austrian gay hairdresser goes “too far”.

GLAAD spokeswhore Rashad Robinson told Eonline.com, “We have very mixed emotions about the movie. Those of us who saw the film agreed that you can’t critique it as a single film because it’s more like 90 minutes of individual sketches. Some are funny and hit their mark but others hit the gay community instead.”



Universal studio bosses have refused to add the pro-gay message, and kudos for them for not backing down to GLAAD's fuckery. Those assholes have to be just as equally annoying as PETA. And that's saying a lot. A statement was also released from the studio’s press office, saying “Brüno uses provocative comedy to powerfully shed light on the absurdity of many kinds of intolerance and ignorance, including homophobia.”

But Robinson insists, “This movie does not unmask stereotypes… As someone who sat at the back of a focus group audience… I felt they were laughing at us at times.”



There have been many shows and films as of late that have showcased many ridiculous stereotypes of gays, and as far as I can remember, I don't recall GLAAD lifting a perfectly manicured finger. Or even for some of the ridiculously stereotypical gay shit in Borat. Because this film is centered on a gay character, they want attention brought to them like a Perez Hilton beatdown.



It just baffles me that the Brits (being that this is a British comedy) have a better sense of humor than us. They're willing to laugh at themselves, as well as make fun of all things ignorant of the world and the people who bask in that ignorance. I love Sacha's style of comedy as well as the twisted sense of humor their shows and films bring. If GLAAD can't get that, then maybe they need to go eat a dick and get a life. or maybe that's the problem. There's not enough dick to go around for the sexually-deprived imbaciles that work in the office.

Get over it...and yourselves. this gay guy isn't offended by Bruno at all. If you want to be offended, spend a day at the NYC Christopher Street Pier or at a New York City fashion school whaer the drama is aplenty and the children are such a mess, they make me geek...and not in a good way. Flamboyant guys exist. The minute we can get all that fake ass straight-acting bullshit out of our heads, and can hold our heads up high and be ourselves, the better off our world will be. There are many colors that make up the rainbow. gays can't all be straight-acting like Ryan Seacrest.
