The CW has picked up the much buzzed about series Vampire Diaries. There were rumors a couple months back that the CW was interested in the series, and now they've md it official. Kevin Williamson (Scream) and Kyle XY's Julie Plec collaborated on the pilot which stems from L.J. Smith's young adult novels. Nina Dobrev, Steven R. McQueen, Ian Somerhalder, Zach Roerig and Kayla Ewell star.
