Good news for Chuck fans like myself. After getting a bit worried that they may face cancellation, NBC and Warner Bros. TV have signed a 13-episode third-season renewal deal on Sunday for the action-comedy "Chuck."
"Chuck" will return next season with a smaller production budget. The renewal haggling between NBC and Warner Bros. TV over the past few weeks has centered entirely on cost-cutting issues, reports Variety.
"Chuck" stars Zachary Levi as a regular-Joe computer geek who winds up with CIA secrets implanted in his head.
Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak co-created "Chuck" and executive produce along with McG and Scott Rosenbaum. I'm just so happy that a great show like Chuck is getting another chance to show their brilliance on TV f0r another season. I do wonder now that since Chuck has become a superspy and his best friend Morgan quit the Buy More to become a chef, does that mean we'll see less of the Buy More and Chuck will take a more serious direction? If you guys haven't checked out Chuck yet, now would be a good time to do so.
