Method Man will star in the long delayed new movie from George Lucas called “Red Tails.” The World War II film from the “Star Wars” creator/director will also star fellow Def Jam label-mate Ne-Yo next to actors Terrance Howard and Cuba Gooding Jr. The new movie will be directed by Anthony Hemingway (”The Wire”) and focus on African-American pilots who had to overcome racism in order to fight in the war. Didn't Spike Lee do a film similar to this last year (minus the pilots?)
In related news, Method Man will also appear in the upcoming new thriller “Sinners & Saints” about a New Orleans cop and his partner who investigate a series of gang murders. Meth will also star in “Strife,” a comedy about teens living in the slums of Los Angeles, co-starring Evan Ross (”ATL”). Method Man and Redman’s follow up to their 1999 multi-platinum selling “Blackout!” album is set to hit stores on April 28th, so dont miss out!
