NEW YORK NEWSPAPER URGES TYLER PERRY TO COME OUT OF THE CLOSET

Perez Hilton ain't the only media whore outing celebrities. NY newspaper The Village Voice is attempting to out director Tyler Perry as GAY. In a recent article, the paper suggests that Tyler is living “on the downlow” and that he needs to come out the closet.

Here’s the author’s direct quote:

Even more interestingly to me, his mannerisms and aura are such that everyone within a mile of his finery seems to say, "He's a gay!" So, assuming the gaydar of millions is on target as usual, why won't the guy come out already?

Is he living on the down low? Is it because he feels his audience is largely homophobic? Well, if your message is love and peace and all that jazz, why would you want to pander to a bunch of haters?

Doesn't Perry realize what a difference he could make by simply uttering a quick statement and being forthright rather than acting vague all the time and bringing leggy females to premieres? He could enlighten throngs of people, most of whom, I'm sure, would keep on loving him every bit as much! I mean, it's not like anyone that bright is going to go "Oh, so he's a femme? I can't support him now!"

Truth be told, did we really need the Village Voice to tell us something we alredy know? That case has been closed ages ago. While I admire Tyler's hustle (he is the ONLY black director to own his own mega studio), he needs to come out in his won time. I make jokes about celebrities in the closet, but coming out is a HUGE ordeal. And it has nothing to do with him dressing in drag as Madea. I said the same shit about Eddie Murphy's tranny-loving ass! Martin Lawrence has also done drag, and I have never gotten a gay vibe from him. So if anyone decides to use the dressing in drag excuse for him being gay (allegedly), then that's complete utter bullshit. As I have said before, people need to come out in their own time. I'm sure he'll be out before Miss Murphy and Usher decides to admit what they really like, if you know what I'm saying, and I think you do.
