It seems that Mariska's chest pains are more serious than previously reported.
Hargitay was hoping to return to work after her second surgery to repair a collapsed lung, it now seems that she will be missing a few weeks of SVU's shooting schedule in order to fully recuperate.
Mariska will now be absent from one episode of SVU in which Ice-T will fill the void for the recovering actress.
I really think she should take the time to get well, which for once will allow the writers to use other cops on the show besDet. Benson and Stabler. Finally Ice T can work for his recurring paycheck.
