The second trailer for Terminator:Salvation has hit the internet, and it looks amazing. I love the choice of the Nine Inch Nails track, The Day The Earth Went Away playing in the background. The film stars Christian Bale (who refused to star initially in the film unless McG refined the script to the point where it could be read on stage without any special effects and still be a compelling story), Bryce Dallas Howard (taking over the role of Kate Connor from Claire Danes), Anton Yelchin (as a young Kyle Reece. He also plays Checkov in the upcoming Star Trek film), Linda Hamilton as the iconic Sarah Connor, rapper Common as John's comrade, Sam Worthington as the mysterious Marcus, and Helena Bonham Carter as the villain Serena. Arnold Schwarzenegger is rumored to make an appearance as well. There have been reports that a computer-animated recreation of Schwarzenegger's face will be digitally grafted onto the body of Austrian bodybuilder Roland Kickinger (who played the young Arnold in a TV movie). The script was reworked by Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight) and Anthony E. Zuiker (CSI), and was directed by McG (Charlie's Angels). The film is set to take over the world on May 21, which is Memorial Day weekend. There are also rumors that the studios are gunning for a PG-13 rating, much like the fourth Die Hard film. here's hoping we get a hard R for one of my favorite franchises. Most likely, they'll go for a more kid friendly rating so they can sell lunchboxes. action figures, and other shit. Check it out below:
