Not privately, but professionally. After the past few cd's have flopped under Jermaine's production, Janet has decided to end production ties with Jermaine Dupri.
According to sources, “She’s returned to Jimmy and Terry, so we can expect the old Janet back.”
The reason why her last couple cd's flopped is because Janet's been doingthe same outdated, tired music and lyrical content since the "Janet" cd. She's not pushing musical boundaries and reinventing herself like Madonna, Kylie, Cher, and all the other divas. The minute Janet learns to stop trying to compete with the Ciara's and Beyonce's , and learns to do her (after all, she has been in the industry longer than these damn kids had a career), then maybe she'll get her fledgling career back on track.
