CHRIS BROWN NOMINATED FOR MTV AUSSIE AWARDS

Despite being embroiled in a ‘criminal threats’ case, R&B singer Chris Brown still managed to snag two nominations for MTV’s upcoming MTV Australia Awards. Brown, whose hit “Forever” joins Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” in the Best Moves category, is also up for Best Collaboration (”No Air” w/ Jordin Sparks). Chris Brown’s nominations may come as a surprise to some but are a given considering the singer’s well received Australia/New Zealand tour with Rihanna last year. The duo’s tour at one point sold out an arena in just 20 minutes, causing promoters to add additional dates. In addition to Brown’s nods, Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” looks to be an aussie favorite as the singer snapped up a nomination for Best Video. Pink, The Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, Estelle and Paramore also managed to earn at least one nomination for an MTV Australia Award. The 2009 MTV Australia Awards are slated to air March 27th on MTV Australia. Performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.

This is exactly why I said Mario, Omarion, and any other young black males who's trying to come for Usher's Mr. Entertainment award needs to be in the studio trying to replace Chris Brown, beecause all that shine he had on himself is up for grabs. Hell, y'all should have had the hottest producers on speeddial the minute Chris's fist hit RiRi's face. It 's a wrap on his ass!
