Now that Taylor Lautner will definitely reprise his role as werewolf Jacob in Twilight sequel New Moon, word is quickly spreading that High School Musical trilogy alum Vanessa Anne Hudgens will be joining the cast.
Rumors state that she will play the werewolf Leah Clearwater. They will use special effects to transform Vanessa into a human for the scenes where she doesn't have to play a wolf.
Sounds like a very interesting choice, although I still think it's bull that casting folks said they couldn't find any Native American actors to play werewolves in the sequel.
