This is definitely why I got nothing but love for Sharon. She tells it like it is, and doesn't give a fuck if you like her or not. Maybe if majority of these celebritards acted in the same manor, instead of like a bunch of boring ass Stepford zombies, all courteous and polite, I'd be able to tolerate them more. Then it would make my job boring, so I guess we'll have to ax that.
There seems to be a new feud going on. This time, it's the Osbournes vs. Jay Leno.
Sharon Osbourne recently told reporters "hell-to-the-no" when asked if she will appear on Leno's stupid new NBC show, coming out this fall.
Sharon said, "He had always been a friend of ours, but then Ozzy went and performed on Jimmy Kimmel, and Jay has banned us ever since. So fuck him!… I will go to Letterman or Kimmel. I am not going on Leno. Thank God, I don't have to sell anything like a movie or a drama series."
An NBC rep retorted, "Ozzy was on Kimmel on May 22, 2007, and we had Sharon on Aug. 3, 2007. We've never banned them from the show, and have made offers to Ozzy since then."
So basically Leno's camp is calling Sharon a liar. I've heard legendary stories of Leno (who's late night show is unwatchable, but always has great guests) who always wants the big stars to come on his show, and gets upset if major celebs to Letterman first. It may have to do with their constant feud ever since Johnny Carson's late night gig went to Leno instead of Letterman. It was the very thing that destroyed their friendship. I'm sure it will be a matter of time before she has a snazzy comeback. If she does wind up back on Leno, make sure there's no big glasses of wine around.
