POTATO QUEENS VS. RICE QUEENS: YOUR THOUGHTS

While getting all the footage for Tyra's "Gay for Pay" episode, I came across this old video of her show on interracial dating. This queen named Jimmy Chen came on with his boyfriend to talk about the riduicule and the snickers they get from people because they are dating. Now I, for one have no problem with people who date outside of their race. I am a product of multiracial love, and I have Asian ancestors. My issue is with folks who only stick to one particular race because of something psychological that may have have happened in their life. In the gay community, I have never seen Asian guys date their own kind, and I live in NYC. When I go to the Web, the only gay Asian dance club in NYC, I see the Asian dancers making stronger conversation with the panda huggers than with other ethnicities. And then they wonder why the Latino and black dancers get the more coin. First of all, them hating bitches don't have the equipment downtown to get the boys excited. And I'm no size queen (okay, I'm in denial on that one). But still. I've seen them shady potato queens hating on other dancers who aren't Asian because they're getting the bigger crowd. I also have a friend who refuses to date black men because he's had bad experiences in the past. Yes he is black, but he'll only date Mexicans, and I mean the cholo kind. Bald head, tattoos and all. I love me some cholos too, but I also love Dominicans, puerto Ricans, Cubans, Blacks, whites. I love them all. I'm like a kid in a candy store wen it comes to my men. Sometimes I feel like M&M's. Sometimes I feel like Almond Joy. I don't feel there should be only one variety of anything you should stick with. because like me and chicken afeter eating it for four days straight, i get tired of it.
