After the success of "Womanizer," and the so-so success of "Cricus," Brit Brit is looking to create a little controversy by releasing "If You Seek Amy" as the third single. unfortunately, parents everywhere who'd like to still see Brit Brit as that sweet innocent southern belle from louisiana instead of the sloppy trailer trash trainwreck she revealed herself to be, are outraged at Britney Spears' newest single, because when you say it fast it actually means something else. In case you care, here's a breakdown of the lyrics.
"Love me/Hate me/Say What you want about me/All of the boys and all of the girls are beggin’ to/If You Seek Amy." It sounds puzzling, until you realize the title breaks down as ‘F.U.C.K ME’.
To be honest, this song would have been hotter if she released it during her Slave 4 U days. That was when britney was at the top of her game and everyone really did want to fuck her (before she allowed Assnan and K Fag to forever taint the golden pussy).
One mothers group in Australia sounded off:
"I was astonished and totally taken aback when I heard my five and seven year old kids walking around the house singing, ‘F-*-*-K. When I asked them what it was, they told me it was Britney Spears. I was horrified.
"I got them the Circus album because little kids are Britney fans, but there was no warning on the album and none of the songs listed had F-*-*-K in the title.
"Listening to it, it is extremely blatant and offensive. I feel I have been deceived into believing that this was acceptable content for children but instead it is objectionable."
Oh people grow up. All this controversy and pblicity will be perfect for the Spears machine. I'm sure that's why they put the song on the album in the first place. Parents seriously need to calm down. In my opinion, If You Seek Amy has gimmick written all over it (much like Britney's very calculated career) and the single isn't even all that great.
