You'd think some divas would fall back on their high-maintenance bullshit and allow someone else to shine for once, but not Mariah. Word is the LEGENDARY diva, who performed at the Neighborhood Ball for President Barack and Michelle Obama, was “furious” when she found out that she’d be seated for the inauguration. A spy said, “Mariah was in the VIP area, where every celebrity, like Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Bruce Springsteen, was seated. But somehow she thought she’d be up with the Obama family. When she realized she wasn’t, she bailed.” Meanwhile, Carey ex Sean Combs is said to be upset that he wasn’t invited to perform at official events and disappointed that Jay-Z had a bigger presence. A rep for Carey declined to comment. Combs’ rep said, “It was one of the greatest moments of his life. Sean was invited to the inauguration and was seated third row, with Jay-Z, at the ceremony.”
These damn celebrities just can't check their egos at the door for five damn minutes. Everything has to be all about them and their damn needs. With celebs getting all upset for who performs at what time and who's being seated (also with phony ass Jello and Skeletor pretending they're happy for Obama when they took no part in his earlier campaign), someone needs to give these fools a meme: The inauguration wasn't about you. It was Obama's moment.
