I'm sure all of you fans are aware that this will be the final season of the hit Showtime series The L Word.. Here's the latest on the spin-off!
The final season starts of with Jenny's annoying ass character finally beibg killed off. I've blogged in the past that Leisha Hailey's Alice character will be the center of the spin-off. But did you know her character will be going to jail?
The producers are going for more of a "female Oz"! Yes, as in the gritty HBO prison drama!
With Alice Pieszecki, going to jail, the new show will follow her and a cast of characters (not all of them lesbians) in the big house, although Showtime President of Entertainment Bob Greenblatt says it will not be as "dark" as Oz.
The show is still in its pilot stage and a decision will be reached in a couple of months.
I'm on the fence about this one. I don't want to watch a bunch of chicks licking labia's in prison. It may sound bias, but it's much hotter seeing dudes getting down like this behind bars. Like Christopher Meloni and Lee Tergesen back in the day.
