I didn't know she was even knocking boots. Singer/actress/diva Jill Scott will welcome her first child into the world in April.
Lady Scott spilled the beans on Friday at a press conference for her new HBO show, The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency.
She revealed that she discovered that she was pregnant just before leaving for Botswana, where she filmed the series. I guess being a big girl has it's perks. You can hide being sperminated until the moment of popation!
"The first trimester I spent in Botswana. That was one of the biggest challenges of my life. First trimester! You're sick every morning. It was seven hours time difference, the heat, the bugs, the 14 hour days," said the crooner.
All I have to say is I really hope she doesn't join the current Hollyweird trend of stupid baby names.
Congrats Jill. I wonder who's the babydaddy?
