As you all are aware (if you were watching it on tv like I was), a gazillion people attended the inauguration of President Barack Obama in Washington D.C., except one… 50 Cent. The G-Unit general, who first backed Hillary Clinton, says he never thought about attending the historic events, unlike Diddy, Jay-Z, Nas, Young Jeezy and the 15 million others. “I [might have] watched it from a really nice hotel room in D.C.,” 50 jokingly says. “Because there’s gonna be a whole lot of people out there, for no reason, doing different things. If Obama didn’t invite you, you really shouldn’t be there. You really shouldn’t. That’s the way I feel about it. Because when I go places that people didn’t invite me [to], they look at me crazy, like, ‘Why is he out there?’ ” After he was done joking around, 50 says Obama now faces many challenges. “I think he’s inheriting the country in a difficult state. Actually the worst [state], right? So I think it will take time. I hope, for all of our sakes, that whatever his plans are work for us.” 50 mocked all the Obama followers saying “People watch [Obama on] the monitor like God is speaking, like, ‘I hope he can get me a job.’ “
In other 50 Cent news, he has started a film production company called Cheetah Vision, and through his company has already purchased eight scripts. “They are all different types of movies that I bought the rights to, and we’re developing projects,” 50 says. “You will see different things from me in the future.” 50 will make his directorial debut with “Before I Self Destruct” a free DVD included with his upcoming album of the same name. Originally the album was going to be released last year then it was pushed to February 4th of this year. Now 50’s website is reporting that the album has once again been pushed back, hitting stores sometime in March. As for any more acting roles coming from the rapper, he will be hitting the big screen later this year. 50 will star alongside Val Kilmer in the police drama “Streets Of Blood” plus the rapper is attached to two other films that are currently in production, “13″ and “Dead Man Running.”
I think 50 needs to give up music and get himself a talk show. He's got more crazy shit to say than Kanye West.
