If this story is true, I'm personally holding a boycott with as many tranny's as I can get my hands on. The jokesters over at The Sun claim that Lady Eddie Murphy has signed on to play The Riddler in the next Batman movie. I'm sure I'm not the only one who agrees, but this has to be the worst movie casting since Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze. Or better yet, Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider. I could go on, but I won't. Christopher Nolan has done a phenomenal job with casting on the two Batman flicks so far, so I'm going to file this story under sheer rumor.
The Sun's source said the movie is being developed under the working title of Gotham. It's set to be released in 2010. Christian Bale will be back as Batman and Michael Caine will also play Alfred for a third time. The source went on to say that the movie ends with Batman possibly not surviving an explosion at Wayne Towers.
Eddie Murphy's controversial casting is not the only one that will have fanboys scratching their heads. Word on the much rumored street is that Shia LaDouche will play Robin and The Mummy's Rachel Weisz is in talks to play Catwoman. I actually liked the idea of Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Angelina Jolie as Catwoman.
None of this fuckery has been confirmed by Warner Bros. So as I said, I am goingto cast this as a rumor until it is confirmed otherwise.
