Word on the street is that industry insiders are predicting that when the numbers are finalized, Kanye is gonna come in tomorrow on the Billboard charts with only 425-475k in sales.
That's a big step down from Graduation's nearly 1 million in first week sales! A 50% + step down!
Maybe everyone's not feeling the record right away, but i have to tell you guys...his new cd is amazing. I listened to it while i was doing some work at VH1 and I have to admit i was completely floored by not only the haunting beats, but the songs and how Kanye cut himself open and bled all over the tracks. I'll even go as far as to say it's the best cd he's ever done so far. thank god for a hip hop artist who not only has a big mouth, but also is not afraid to take risks and wear his heart on his sleeve. So if there's anyone out there who is a BIG fan of cutting edge music, I demand you go out an cop the new Kanye cd.
