MAGIC SAYS NO TO PROPOSITION H8TE

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Former Laker and current movie theater entrepreneur Magic Johnson has lent his voice to the fight against California's discriminatory Proposition 8.

The Hall of famer recorded the following message that will be going out to voters in the golden state:

"This is Magic Johnson calling to ask you to join me and Barack Obama in opposing Proposition 8. Prop 8 singles out one group of Californians to be treated differently - including members of our family, our friends, and our coworkers. That is not what California is about. So this Tuesday, vote no on Proposition 8. It is unfair and wrong. Thanks."

I applaud celebrities like Magic for coming out against discrimination against gays, but of course Magic would vote no for prop H8te. You don't think he got AIDS from a woman, now do you?
