There were rumors going around that Days Of Our lives would be following Passions to that precious cancelled soap box in the sky. Now word is that NBC has picked up the long running soap for another 18 months with the chance of adding another year to that.
I'm never really been a DAYS fan (I did watch back in the day when Marlena became possessed by the devil...my babysitter was a fan of the show). I'm more of a One Life to Love/General Hospital kind of guy. I am glad to see Days will be on the air to fight another day. Variety also said with the renewal means the show will have cost cuts, thus meaning there will be some cast changes. Hope you actors who have been on DAYS since before speech replaced sign language have been saving up your coins!
