I have said all I need to say on the Obama win on my MySpace blog, so I'm not goingto smother you guys with a whole lot of Obama chat. It was definitely a HUGE victory when he won, and it was amazing to see people who never in their life felt they needed to vote, got out there and tried to make a difference. Many celebrities spoke out on what they think of the Obama win. Carrie Underwood, who's pissed her side didn't win said nothing (just how we like our tired Idol performers. With no opinions whatsoever).
Kanye West gave a shout out to his dearly departed mom, Dr. Donda, on his official blog.
He said online, "Hi Mom, Obama won!"
As for George Clooney, he spoke out as well and said, "I congratulate President-elect Obama on his historic victory, and now it's time to begin unifying the country so we can take on the extraordinary challenges that this generation faces."
On yesterday's The View, everyone was expecting some fire and venom from dear old Elizabitch Hasselsnatch. But she said during Hot Topics, "I will jump in that line and support our president because that is what as an American I believe we should do."
I agree with supporting your president as an American, but if Obama winds up on some Dubya type shit, he will be hearing my mouth. Part of being an American is agreeing with the actions of your country, as well as fighting with your countries policies when they aren't up to par.
Can't wait until january when Obama officially takes office!!!!!
