Miss Jackson if you're nasty is no longer with her label, Island Def Jam Music Group.
Well this is her third flop, so it's not big surprise. Janet's camp isn't the one releasing this info, though.
The spokeswhore flapping at the gums is none other than producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins (Brandy, The Pussycat Dolls) who confirmed the news via a vlog.
The rumors have officially been put to rest, and we're now being told that she's been released from her contract which, she had signed in 2007.
Darkchild says, "We didn't get the support from the record company."
To be honest, Janet didn't really have any hot joints on the new cd. She also didn't have a hand in writing a bulk of the music, something she has always partaken in in the past. It just seems to me that Janet is going through the motions of making music and performing instead of being creatively inspired.
He adds that Janet "felt like it wasn't pushed. I felt like it wasn't pushed correctly. She just didn't get her just-do as an artist of that magnitude."
As for her future, he says "I could make an album with her, possibly me, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis. Keep it real simple. They focus on what they're great at, I focus on what I'm great at. We come together and make a classic Janet record."
Maybe Janet should skip the major label system altogether and go independent.
Janet it's time to take back CONTROL of your career.
