BUSTA RHYMES is desperate to work with AMY WINEHOUSE after meeting her backstage at the Orange RockCorps charity gig this past Friday. The Rehab hitmaker was roped in and propped up on an IV drip as a last-minute standby to perform in place of the rapper after it was unsure whether he would be allowed into Britain after he was detained at the airport by British border authorities over his past criminal convictions in the U.S. It looked like immigration officials may have forced the Touch It star to scrap the show in London, but he was released and allowed to perform after a High Court judge granted him a last minute reprieve earlier in the day. And before hitting the stage, he hooked up with Winehouse behind the scenes, and swapped numbers with the star so they could plan future collaborations - but doubts she will follow through with her promise to call. He tells the Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “I would love to work with her. I think she is a talented genius of an artist. She won’t pick up the damn phone but that’s OK. I ain’t mad at her.” Maybe she won't pick up the damn phone because she's too hooked on drugs and emaciated to even lift the receiver. You know if you threw some hot ass grease on her she weighs about 83 pounds.
