Another reason to love Saint Angelina's other half.
We can now add gay activist to the list of good deeds Brad Pitt has contributed to. William Bradley just donated $100,000 to the the anti-proposition 8 campaign. Prop 8, which will be voted on in the upcoming November elections, wants to ban same sex marriages and make them constitutionally illegal in Cali. I honestly never heard of Prop 8 until they devoted an entire storyline to it on Queer as Folk a few years back.
Brad's donation and countless others will help those fighting to protect the rights of gays and lesbians to marry in California and is the largest thus far to the anti-Prop. 8 campaign by an A-list celebrity.
In a statement Brad the Dad said:
"Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8."
So guys make sure you get out there and vote NO to Proposition 8.
