NE*YO GIVES INSIGHT INTO RIHANNA'S "TAKE A BOW"

R+B star NE-YO wrote a track about his ex-girlfriend - and gave it to RIHANNA to sing.

The Closer hitmaker penned Take A Bow for the star’s recent album, Good Girl Gone Bad, and he admits that the lyrics are deeply personal.

He reveals that the line, “You look so dumb right now,” was inspired by a heated row with a former lover.

He says, “It came to me from a situation that happened to me. I was with a young lady and I found out that she had been moving about and doing other things.

“So I gave her a call and said, ‘Yeah I found this out and basically there’s no need for you to call me no more’. Click.

“She came to the house that I was at and she was literally standing outside saying, ‘Please will you just talk to me’. I’m standing there at the window thinking, ‘God, you look so dumb right now’.”
