NAS GIVES KANYE PROPS FOR SAVING HIP HOP

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

One of the greatest lyricists in Hip Hop Nas sat down for an interview with Complex Magazine, and during the chat 'bout he credits Kanye with saving Hip-Hop:

Complex: Kanye says that you are the greatest rapper of all time. How does it make you feel when people call Lil’ Wayne the best rapper alive?

Nas: Oh man, good. I only feel weird when you’re saying that about me. I think Kanye West saved rap. I think Lil’ Wayne is showing there is a future for all kinds of artists to continue doing this. You know, I love it.

In my opinion, I believe Kanye has brought something different to hip hop. he has shown that you don't have to have hoes strutting on stage with a leash around their neck or promote drug dealings and guns to sell records. Kanye has brought a European/Rock & Roll sensibility to hip hop. That hip hop music is bigger than money, drugs, and hoes
