Conscious rapper Common has already starred in some impressive films like American Gangster, Wanted and Smokin Aces. Well now he's continuing to blossom his acting resume with a role in the highly anticipated fourth installment in the Terminator series called Salvation. Although the film won't be in theaters until May 22nd, 2009, buzz is already started when a teaser trailer hit the internet on Thursday and can currently be seen during the coming attractions of The Dark Knight. Currently in New Mexico filming for the movie alongside Christian Bale (who takes over the role of John Connor), Common is also finishing up his ninth album called Invincible Summer. “I feel more free now that I’m doing more movies and stuff, to just put out music that I love and I believe in and get it out there,” stated Common about his music.
The new album, due out in September, will be produced by Mr. DJ and hit making duo, The Neptunes.
