Courteney Cox Arquette revealed to TV Guide that there will NOT be a season 3 of her show Dirt on FX. Season 2 was cut short by the WGA strike which makes sence since the finale felt anti-climatic. But don't fret my pets. Cox and her hubby David Arquette are busy developing "all kinds of stuff right now" through their production company. No word yet on exactly what those projects are.
the problem with the show is they basically took all the latest drama seen on TMZ (with the Lindsay's, the Britney's etc.) and made tame mockery's of them. If they would have made the characters more interesting, more scandalous storylines, and Courteney's Lucy Spiller character a little bit likeable, they would have had a good show. A program like Dirt, if you're going to bring the drama, you cannot be afraid to go all the way. If any future Dirt's hit the airwaves, take a cue from my favorite FX show, Nip/Tuck and cram as much scandalosity as you can into the show
