Just when things were looking up in Cuba, you know with Fidel Castro stepping down and all, it seems now they're trying to take a page out of the Jamaican Ignoramus Asshole Handbook. The first ever Cuban Gay Pride march was set to take place Wednesday down the streets of the communist country.
The parade was to start at 10:00am in Havana with attendees marching under the slogan "You are not alone."
But, as organizers arrived at the starting point, several of them were met by Cuban police officers who proceeded to beat and arrest several of them.
WTF??? It goes to show with a little change, we still have a long way to go for Cubans to be free to be themselves.
