SAMUEL L. JACKSON ABOUT TO DO BIG THINGS FOR THE SMALL SCREEN

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Samuel L. Jackson is about to invade your t.v. sets. He's just signed a 'first-look deal' with CBS to develop and exec produce projects for the smallscreen.

I wonder how much he made off the deal????? According to an industry report, there's no acting component, but there's always a chance Jackson may lend his face in some fashion to whatever project he cooks up.

"He's an incredibly versatile person," said CBS Paramount Network TV president David Stapf. "There's no limit to what he's interested in. He will attract other really interesting artists and writers." Hope we can get some great black-themed dramas and comedies out of the deal, and not anything like that Slavor Slav crapola on My 9 Network.

Stapf said he was particularly interested in making the deal after learning Jackson is a passionate TV fan. Good looking on the deal. But remember, more scripted television and less reality. lawd knows some of us writers could use the work.
