Director/fiancee Robert Rodriguez will produce a new big-screen adventure featuring the flame-haired comic-book vixen Red Sonja - to be played by Rose McGowan. The film will be released in 2010.
Robert considers Rose a perfect fit as the mighty, voluptuous character. He says, "Rose is a pistol. She's whip-smart, has attitude to burn, is sexy, extremely strong, yet has a vulnerable side that would surprise her closest friends. That description also fits Red Sonja."
The role was once played by former actress Bridgitte Nielsen.
First Robert leaves his wife for McGowan. Then she snags roles in barbarella, an upcoming prison series for HBO and now Red Sonja? I definitely envy this bitch because she definitely must have skills in the bedroom to have Rodriguez hypnotized this bad! I got love for Rose, but I'm just saying.
