While celebrating National Gay Pride Month at The Abbey in West Hollywood last night, T.R. Knight , 35, spoke candidly about his relationship with his 19 year-old boyfriend, Mark Cornelsen.
And to help stop any "rumors" that Knight and his boy were going to marry, he said, "We've only known each other for six months, so I think it's a little soon to consider marriage."
Adding that "I think it's very important to honor marriage. I take it very seriously. And I'm glad I can finally take it seriously." You can now since it's now legal. Note to Republicans: Marriage is good for the economy. And we all know how much you guys love money.
Also, regarding whether or not he sees a potential future with Mark, T.R. added "I don't think you date anyone that you don't see a future with."
He then goes on to proclaim his love for Mark and explains that his love allows him not to worry about their 16 year age difference.
Knight says, "It's bound to raise some eyebrows, but we love each other. He's an amazing guy. I love being around him…I love what we have. I was surprised he was interested!"
Ummm...you are an actor. Why wouldn't he be interested in you?
I hope he loves you for you, and not for fam and money. I also hope Mark's mature for his age, because what else could a 35-year-old talk to a 19 year-old about? MySpace? A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila? Project Runway? I wish you guys the best and a bright future.
