You can always head to musical theater!
Ex-American Idol winner Taylor Hicks (who anyone with talent would know should not have won the show) is heading to Broadway — just like fellow Idol contestants Fantasia Barrino (The Color Purple), Clay Gayken (Spamalot), Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray), Frenchie (Rent) and Constantine Maroulis (The Wedding Singer)Who has been invited to sit in the audience more times than Danny Noriega.
Hicks is set to join the cast of Grease as Teen Angel starting June 6th. I hope he planss on getting rid of those gray's.
He says he plans to add " faux soulful flavor" to his performance of "Beauty School Dropout." Gag me with a uber-sharp fork. Just do us all a favor and don't dance.
The flashy role, he said, is "a classic fit for a classic performer."
Note to you young-uns who don't know any better: A classic performer is someone who has been performing for more than twenty years. how long have you been on stage Mr. Hicks???
Fellow idols take note: This is where you could be in a year.

If you think getting a role on Broadway is a last resort,as indicated by the title of your blog, you simply don't know what you're talking about. Nor do you have any cultural knowledge or class whatsoever.
What's your claim to fame anyway? Writing critical things about people who have likely accomplished more than you have?
Ok so being the winner of Idol, you're supposed to stick with one form of entertainment??? You obviously have no knowledge of Broadway and how it works.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with broadening your entertainment abilities.Whether it be acting, singing, doing sitcoms, whatever. If thats another source of income, what really is the problem with that?

FYI to Elle: Every blog, reporter and person in entertainment get's their info from each other. If you think the bloggers who write about these "celebrities" (and I use that word loosely for these future cruise ship performers) you are as naive as the idiots who sign their life away on that tired show. I have seen some shit on perezhilton and countless other sites that are identical to the word from NYC newspapers. But what do i need to explain myself to some bitch hiding behind a keyboard???
