TV Guide is reporting that a spinoff from Fox's acclaimed show is being quietly developed for next season.
A new male character, who'll have a multi-episode storyline, is being introduced and if the actor cast makes the role 'work', then chances are good that said new male will get the 2.0 show!
AND, the new character won't be a doc, says well-placed insiders. He's going to be a private investigator!
