In a move to step out of the norm (which in my book is always a good thing), Ciara is planning to package her new album with three different discs. Each disc for the new album Fantasy Ride, will have it’s own theme and include 5-6.
According to Billboard, the first disc, called “GrooveCity,” will show the sexy side of the singer and the second disc, “Crunktown,” will feature three high tempo club songs. The third and final disc, called “Kingdom of Dance,” will feature Ciara’s main sound for freestyle-laden tracks.
The follow up to her 2006 Platinum album The Evolution, Fantasy Ride will hit stores in September. The first single for the album should hit radio around June.
Ciara is also expanding into the movie business as she has completed work in the new film ‘Mama I Want To Sing’. Lynn Whitfield and Patti LaBelle will also star in the film which will hit theaters in October.
Since Ciara is doing Janet better than Janet, i think this is a good move on her part. Looking foward to hearing the new music.
